J.M. Long is an indie pop artist from Portland, Oregon. He has been actively releasing music and performing under his solo moniker since 2017. In addition to receiving local radio play, Long has steadily built a local presence through dozens of full band and solo shows in the last two years.
Long creates a whimsical yet polished sound, largely due to the fact that he records and mixes all of his own music himself out of his home studio in SE Portland. With an audio degree from Musicians Institute, he is able to capture the ‘crazy’ ideas he hears in his head at any time of day or night.
In April 2019, J.M. released his second album “When You Get Lonely EP”, a woodsy dance-pop project with sincere lyrics & instantly singable hooks.
Currently, Long is preparing to go on his second west coast tour, performing in cities from Los Angeles to Seattle all through the summer of 2019.
